Stage 1 - The VOC prefilter removes lint, hair, and large particles. Stage 2 - The HEPA filtration system is certified to remove 99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns from a home's air. Stage 3 - Non-ozone creating dual UV lamps emit powerful UVC light rays that deactivate bacteria, viruses, mold, and microbial growth. Stage 4 - The CinQuartz, PICO filter matched with the UV Coil light decompose VOCs (volatile organic compounds) into basic molecules, reducing odors and airborne chemicals. Stage 5 - Air passes through a final activated carbon filter.
